Blue Jay. One of my favorite childhood memories is when my Dad first hung a birdfeeder in our backyard in New England. Our very first visitor was a flashy Blue Jay. In that moment, a life-long birdwatcher was formed. Anytime I hear a blue jay, I’m transported back to crisp fall mornings and peanut shells on the ground.
